Bullets fired in land dispute between two parties: sarpanch and nephew killed, 5 people including Patwari-Kotwar injured

In Raisen, there was a bloody conflict between the two parties over land measurement, in which the sarpanch’s husband and his nephew were shot dead, while half a dozen people, including Patwari and village Kotwar, were injured. The incident took place on Tuesday evening in Kuchwada village of Udaipura tehsil.

The dispute between the 2 sides of the Raghuvanshi society regarding the land survey increased so much that they attacked each other with guns, due to which Pramod Raghuvanshi, husband of village sarpanch Rachna Raghuvanshi and her nephew Vivek Raghuvanshi died, while the family of the deceased Only three other people were injured. At the same time, Patwari and Village Kotwar have been injured along with 2 people from the attacking family, who have been taken to Bareilly and Udaipura Sub Health Center for treatment.

Electoral rivalry is the root of the dispute

Additional Superintendent of Police Amrit Meena told that the reason for the dispute is the old enmity of the election, the government road had passed through their land. Today the same was being measured. Meanwhile, there was a dispute between the two sides and seeing the dispute increasing, one side opened fire on the other side, in which the sarpanch’s husband and his nephew were killed. 7 people including Patwari Kotwar have been injured. Police force has been deployed in the village from the point of view of security.
