Sakshi Yadav, a resident of Sansigarh village of Alampur in Bhind, whose death is said to be due to illness on May 5. Describing the death as honor killing, Sakshi’s boyfriend has submitted an application to the SPs of Bhind, Morena and Gwalior districts along with the DIG, demanding an inquiry.

Sakshi was my friend. She wanted me loved me One day he proposed me. This is about the beginning of 2022. Then I told him that we are not yet married. Sakshi said that the engagement can happen now. I explained to him. Told you to talk to your mother. After talking to her mother, Sakshi said that she does not have a father, so her uncle runs the house. No one in my family is ready for this marriage.

After talking about marriage in the house, the family members started imposing restrictions on Sakshi. His mother and other family members Lakhan Yadav, Dr. Amit Yadav, Akku Yadav, Man Singh Yadav and Arun Yadav started putting pressure on him to get married elsewhere. When Sakshi refused to get married elsewhere, she was assaulted.

Sakshi was threatened by her family members that if she did not listen, she would have to be killed. They wanted to stop his studies as well. She was a minor at that time. Loved me, so she refused to marry according to the wishes of the family. At that time she was sad and upset. I explained to him. Told to talk to the family members and try to convince them.

Fed up with the harassment of the family members, on 1 September 2022, she suddenly left the house and went somewhere. His mother Seema Yadav and brother Ayush Yadav lodged an FIR on September 4, 2022 at Siraul police station in Gwalior. My name was written as a suspect in this case. On 14 September 2022, the police recovered him from Gwalior. He was kept at One Stop Center Gwalior.

Sakshi, in her statement under section 164 in the Gwalior court, refused to go home citing threat to her life from her mother and other family members. For this reason Sakshi was sent to Nari Niketan and Child Welfare Committee Gwalior by the order of Gwalior Court. Meanwhile Sakshi was transferred from Nari Niketan / Child Welfare Committee Gwalior to Child Welfare Committee Morena.

On 19 April 2023, Kusum, the then president of the Child Welfare Committee, Morena, handed over Sakshi to her maternal uncle Ramkumar Yadav and maternal aunt Julie Yadav, residents of Deedar Colony Dabra, without her consent. While handing over to maternal uncle and maternal uncle for 15 days, a condition was laid that without the permission of the Child Welfare Committee, he would not be taken out of the limits of Gwalior.

After September 19 and before May 4, maternal uncle Rajkumar and maternal aunt Julie Yadav, without any order of any competent court, gave Sakshi Yadav to her mother Seema Yadav and other family members Lakhan Singh Yadav, Man Singh Yadav, Dr. Amit Yadav, Arun Yadav, Karu Yadav and Akku Yadav. These people took Sakshi to their village Sansigarh outside the limits of Gwalior district.

On May 5, Sakshi Yadav died under suspicious circumstances. After Sakshi’s death, I gathered information from my level and came to know that after killing her in a planned and conspiratorial manner, the evidence was destroyed by burning the dead body in the field behind the house in Sansigarh.

On May 8, I met the station in-charge Alampur Kedar Yadav and informed about the incident, but he turned an unheard of it. For this reason, on 9th May, IG Gwalior and on 10th May, the Sub-Divisional Officer, Lahar, has given an application and demanded an inquiry.

Nikhil has demanded in his application that the matter should be taken over from Kedar Yadav and an impartial senior officer should be investigated, so that the secret of Sakshi’s murder can be revealed. Sakshi’s death is not a natural death, but a pre-planned conspiracy.

On the other hand, after Sakshi’s murder, mother Seema Yadav called Himani Sharma and told that Sakshi had died suddenly due to illness. Then Himani Sharma told Seema Yadav that you people have killed Sakshi. I will file a complaint against you. The voice recording of this conversation is in Himani Sharma’s mobile. In the application given to the police, Nikhil has also submitted the audio of this conversation on mobile in a pen drive.

The family hatched a conspiracy as soon as he became an adult

Nikhil told that Sakshi’s birthday was on 20 April. According to the rules, on April 19, Sakshi had turned 18 years old. After becoming an adult, she could marry of her own free will. The fear of this thing was haunting his family members. This is the reason why on April 19 itself, the Child Welfare Committee took away his maternal uncle and aunt from Morena. After 15 days, it was to be handed over to the committee on May 4. Sakshi was murdered on the evening of 5 May 2023. Sakshi’s body was burnt in the field behind the house at around 12 o’clock in the night.
