Life imprisonment to two accused of murder: Amarwada court gave verdict in 3 years old case, punished with fine too!

The court has sentenced the killers who beat the young man to death with an iron ball with the intention of murder, both have been punished with life imprisonment and fine. In the information, Additional Public Prosecutor Manish Nema said that Omkar alias Omkar father Ranglal Dhurve age 22 years, and Shivkumar alias Chhotu father Matman Dhurve age 24 years both live in village Ojhaldhana.

In the intervening night of January 8 and 9, 2019, both the accused had mercilessly thrashed the deceased Rajkumar’s father Hiransingh Gond, with the aim of killing him. Due to a minor dispute, the accused had hit the deceased Rajkumar’s chest, ribs and back with iron rods. He was killed by beating.

Police Station Batkakhapa registered the crime on the information given by Hiran Singh, the father of the deceased in relation to the incident, completed the investigation and presented the final challan in the court. Additional Public Prosecutor Amarwada Manish Nema said that statements of total 10 witnesses were made in the court including witness Channu Gound and other witnesses of the incident and the case was proved.

In which the case was proved beyond doubt by Additional Sessions Judge Amarwada Rakesh Kumar Soni on behalf of the prosecution and the accused 1 – Omkar alias Omkar father Ranglal Dhurve age 22 years, 2 – Shivkumar alias Chhotu father Matbhan Dhurve age 24 years on section-302 Being found guilty in 34, they were punished under section 302 with rigorous imprisonment for life and Rs.5000/- each. In this case, the advocacy on behalf of the government was done by Additional Public Prosecutor Manish Nema, advocate.
