MP’s fourth position in food security in the country: last time it was ranked seventh; Union Health Minister gave the award

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Union Minister of State SPS Baghel awarded Food Safety Commissioner of Madhya Pradesh Dr. Sudam Khade.

The Government of India Food Safety and Standards released the ranking of food safety on Thursday. In this, Madhya Pradesh has got the fourth position in the country. Last time there was seventh ranking.

Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, Government of India (FSSAI) New Delhi organized the event on the occasion of World Food Safety Day at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Union Minister of State SPS Baghel released the annual report for the year 2022-2023 of the work done under food security. In which state ranking was released for the work done by the states. In this, the state of Madhya Pradesh got the fourth position in the country.

Millets fair praised
Union Minister Mandaviya and Minister of State Baghel also awarded Food Security Commissioner of Madhya Pradesh Dr. Sudam Khade. Also appreciated by FSSAI for the activities being conducted by the state of Madhya Pradesh in respect of Millets (Shri Anna). The state of Madhya Pradesh has so far organized the maximum number of 5 millets fairs in the country.
