Road accident: Truck collided with scooter, two injured

A truck hit the scooter from behind on Sunday morning near Vijay Stambh on the city’s main road. Two people riding the scooter were hurt. One of them got serious injury. Both were taken to the district hospital for treatment. The scooter was also completely damaged. The incident happened around 11 am.

Mukesh Chauhan, who was posted as waterman in the district hospital, and Dilip Goswami along with him were going towards the hospital from Dilip Gate on a scooter. Truck number RJ-09-GC-4092 coming from behind hit. By the time the truck stopped, the scooter got stuck underneath. Both the riders also fell and got injured. The condition of both is out of danger.
