Sindhupati Maharaja Dahir Sen, the keeper of India’s western ramparts, was Dharmaveer, Danveer and war hero of Sindh. He was famous among the people as the protector of the Hindu family, who played an important role in the development of the Indus culture. At the age of just 12, he took over the rule of Greater Sindh, expanded it and was ready to protect the nation till his last breath. Maharaja Dahir Sen laid down his life in the battlefield to protect the country. His last words were- O motherland, future children will liberate you.

State President of Bhartiya Sindhu Sabha Gulab Thakur said this on Saturday. On the 1311th martyrdom day of the last emperor of Sindh Raja Dahirsen, Sindhi Sahitya Akademi, Madhya Pradesh Sanskriti Parishad, Bhopal was speaking at a poetry seminar and lecture organized by the Madhya Pradesh Sanskriti Parishad, Bhopal in collaboration with Bhartiya Sindhu Sabha, Indore at Swami Pritamdas Auditorium.
