Shivpuri police action: Police arrested two accused with 20 pistols

Khaniyadhana police of Shivpuri district have arrested two accused with 20 pistols ahead of elections. These accused used to buy illegal weapons at cheap prices and bring them from other provinces and sell them in the district. Let us tell you that the demand for weapons is increasing in the midst of election preparations. Due to this, the accused had reached the district with a large consignment of weapons.

Superintendent of Police Raghuvansh Singh Bhadoria said Khaniyadhana in-charge Dhanendra Bhadoria had received information on the night of May 26 that a car carrying a stockpile of weapons was about to pass. Khaniyadhana in-charge Gajendra Singh Bhadauria started checking by putting a point at the ready intersection where the police stopped and checked a luxury car UP32TN0672 of Hyundai Company. During the checking, the young man was traveling in the car along with the driver of the car. During the search of the car, the police recovered 20 pistols of 32 bore and 20 live cartridges from the car.

In police interrogation, the driver told his name as Neeraj s/o Ramjit Yadav, age 23, resident of New High Court, Kamta Chauraha Police Station, Chinhat, Lucknow. The second accused told his name as Gabbar Rajak s/o Lal Singh Rajak, aged 35 years, resident of Karaira. Police arrested both the accused and recovered 20 pistols and 20 others including a car. The amount of seized pistols has been estimated at Rs 8 lakh 6 thousand.

Pistols were brought through train

Accused Gabbar told that he had reached Jhansi by train from Jaipur with a consignment of 20 pistols. After this, instead of going on the four-lane highway, he planned to go to his home by car through the rural area, during which the police caught him.

Pistol reached from Khargor to Jaipur and from Jaipur to Shivpuri

SP Raghuvansh Singh Bhadauria told that Gabbar Rajak is a resident of Karera town. This accused was involved in arms smuggling for a long time. Gabbar told that he works for Bhagirath Sharma, a resident of Jaipur, Rajasthan. Bhagirath Sharma smuggles pistols and Katto from Khargone to different places. Earlier, along with Bhagirath Sharma had also gone to Khargone to collect arms consignment. Bhagirath, a resident of Jaipur, does many black works like prostitution to arms supply.

In lieu of supplying weapons in the area, I also used to get huge profits, due to this, I was working with Bhagirath Sharma for many years, along with Bhagirath Sharma, there are other people like me who supply weapons in Gwalior, Shivpuri Guna, Ashoknagar. We do.

Superintendent of Police Raghuvansh Singh Bhadauria said that a case has been registered against both the accused under the Arms Act. Both the accused are being interrogated about other arms smugglers and the main accused. Soon others will also be arrested.
