In Sagar’s Cantt police station area, the girl committed suicide by hanging herself in her own house. The girl was alone at home at the time of the incident. The matter came to light when the family members reached home. On information, the police reached the spot and made a panchnama of the dead body.

According to the police, Pooja’s daughter Motilal Patel, age 20, resident of Pagara was alone at home on Saturday afternoon. The parents had taken the hospitalized grandmother for food. Meanwhile, Pooja hanged herself due to unknown reasons. When the parents returned home from the hospital, they found the doors of the house locked. He called out to the daughter. But there was no answer from inside. After which the family members looked inside from the other door and found Pooja hanging on the noose. He immediately informed the police about the matter. The police reached the spot and got the body taken down from the noose.

The dead body was sent to the hospital for postmortem after making a panchnama. The Cantt police station has taken a probe into the matter by establishing a case. The reason for the girl’s suicide could not be revealed. In the case, the police will take the statements of the family members. In preliminary enquiry, the family members of the deceased told the police that the deceased was pursuing BA from Rahatgarh College. It is not known for what reason he hanged himself.
