The construction of 696 units EWS and 120 units LIG houses in Khargone at a cost of Rs 6730.83 lakh under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana AHP is definitely a big gift of the Modi government for the poor and homeless families. The families living in these make their children educated so that they can get their own grand and luxurious buildings constructed in future.
Union Minister of State for Petroleum, Natural Gas, Labor and Employment Rameshwar Teli said this in Khargone on Sunday. BJP district media in-charge Prakash Bhavsar said that Teli participated in a special public relations campaign being run by the party to mark the completion of nine years of the BJP government at the Center under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He discussed with the families living in the PM residence of Temla Road under the Vikas Teerth programme. Municipal President Chhaya Joshi gave information about 816 houses built under PM Awas Yojana AHP and seven thousand 192 houses sanctioned under self construction component in the city.
MP Gajendra Singh Patel, BJP District President Rajendra Singh Rathore, Lok Sabha convenor of the campaign Kalyan Agarwal, co-coordinator Lokesh Shukla, program in-charge Chandrapal Singh Tomar co-incharge Bholu Karma etc were present on the occasion. Teli and the present officials also planted saplings in the PM’s residence complex. After this, Teli inspected the pump house at Solna Gyaspura of Bistan Lift Irrigation Project constructed at a cost of about Rs 390 crore.
With this scheme, 22 thousand hectare agricultural land of the area will be irrigated. Minister Teli discussed with the officials of the construction agency NVDA and the construction company and the farmers of the area. The project is yet to be inaugurated. There is a provision to provide water for irrigation in Rabi season. Water has been released in the rivers and drains for drinking water during the summer season.
