On Thursday, in connection with the death of a person who died due to coming in front of a train near railway gate number 29 in Makronia police station area of ​​Sagar, the family members staged a protest. After the post-mortem, they took the dead body and reached near the Ambedkar statue located on the Makronia intersection road. Where the dead body was kept on the road for the demands and was blocked. As soon as the incident was reported, a heavy police force reached the spot. Police and administration officials arrived and tried to pacify the protesting people by giving them advice. But they did not agree. Even after lapse of about 2 hours, the protesters were not ready to open the blockade, then the police lathi-charged the protesters and chased them away. The dead body was sent for the last rites there.

In fact, Vijay Bansal, aged 55, died in front of the train on Wednesday near the number 29 railway gate on the Sagar-Katni railway line located in Razakhedi, Makronia police station area. His body was found on the track. The police made a panchnama of the dead body and sent it for postmortem. On Thursday, the dead body was handed over to the family members after post mortem. The family members reached the Makronia intersection with the dead body. Where they put the dead body on the road and did a chakkajam. The family members alleged that the son of the deceased Vijay Bansal had gone somewhere with a girl on May 31. Since then the people of the girl’s side were trying to kill him. At the same time, they were harassing the deceased on the phone and coming in front. Were threatening again and again. Due to which the deceased has taken the extreme step. He gave a written application demanding action against the said people.

SDM Vijay Kumar Dehria and Makronia CSP Shekhar Dubey along with the police force reached the spot as soon as the information about Chakkajam was received. Talked to the family members of the deceased who were protesting. Gave them advice and asked them to open the chakkajam. But the family remained adamant on demanding action against the culprits. After much persuasion, when the protesters did not open the blockade, the police chased them away using mild force. Also, the dead body was sent for the last rites along with the family members. SDM Vijay Dehariya told that the family members of the deceased were doing rounds regarding the demands. He has been assured by the police to investigate the matter impartially and take action against the culprits. After which the blockade was opened.
