Local media in the US state of Kansas reported that more than 30 letters containing suspicious white powder reached state officials and representatives in its legislature.
And the same sources stated, on Friday, that the state’s attorney general, Republican Chris Kobach, was among those who received these suspicious mailings.
The Kansas State Bureau of Investigation said, in a statement, that there have been no injuries so far, stressing the need to be careful in dealing with mail.
