Türkiye.. $40 billion in e-commerce volume within a year


The volume of e-commerce in Turkey reached $40 billion in one year, while online exports were limited to $1.7 billion.

This came according to the statements of the founding partner of the “Navlungo” digital logistics platform, Alp Cicek Dagi, on the sidelines of the World E-Commerce Forum held in Istanbul, which aims to make Turkey a regional center for e-commerce and exports via the Internet.

Today, Tuesday, Chisik Daghi added that only 4% of small and medium-sized companies tend to export their products via the Internet.

He explained that Turkey has a way to go in order to increase the volume of exports via the Internet, stressing It has a promising future in e-commerce and logistics.

On a global level, market sales are expected E-Commerce $6.54 trillion in 2023.

The number of those who depend on Internet Two billion users will be able to purchase their needs until 2021, and this figure represents 25% of the world’s population, while experts expect that 95% of purchases in the world will be online by 2040.
