The Croatian national team qualified for the European Nations League final after defeating its Dutch counterpart 4-2, on Wednesday evening, in a marathon semi-final match, whose original time ended in a 2-2 draw, to extend to two additional periods.

The Croatian national team will face the winner of the Spain-Italy match scheduled for Thursday evening, in the final of the tournament.

The Dutch national team took the lead through Donel Mallen in the 34th minute, before Andrej Kramaric equalized from a penalty kick in the 55th minute.

In the 72nd minute, Mario Bazalic scored the second goal for the Croatian national team, but Noah Lang equalized for the Dutch national team in the sixth minute of calculated time instead of lost for the second half, so that the original time of the match ended in a draw, and resort to two additional halves.

In the 98th minute, Bruno Petkovic scored the third goal for the Croatian national team, before Luka Modric added the fourth goal from a penalty kick in the 116th minute in the second overtime.
